1 GALLERY = 1 ARTIST

With the constant desire to support the galleries, the Urban Art Fair team has created, on the sidelines of its eponymous event, UAF | Solo Shows. As we wished, the event is more intimate, more experimental and less formal than its big sister Urban Art Fair. Since 2018, this more intimate format wishes to highlight artists emblematic of one of the most important movements of our time.

The 100% solo shows format is almost non-existent in the contemporary art fair landscape. The three past editions aimed to demonstrate their importance for the understanding of art, especially when it is a movement that is both emerging and already very popular. Giving to see and to understand necessarily implies a form of responsibility, a choice, ours is to show differently, to de-habituate.
